I connect the flight stick only after I'm asked to, I run it with admin privileges, and I use a back USB2.0 port (tried several of them, same results). Now that I've upgraded to a new computer with Windows 8 Pro 64bit, I can't properly install the drivers and the programming suite for already a year and half.ĭuring the installation of the drivers (tried the newest version, the 7.0.27.13, the SD6, none worked) I get an error with PlugAndPlay device. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling drivers and software, plugging into different USB slots, selecting X/Y axis/Unprogrammed/Bands/Bidirectional/etc in the profiler software, turning it off and on again, and so on with no luck.I own this flight stick for years and never had any problems with it back in the days on XP.

I've done a lot of googling and it seems like a few other people have the same problem, though for others it works fine out of the box. The control panel does register input when I move the nub, but it's not translating that to mouse movement in or out of game. I recently finally gave in and spent the money on the X52 Pro and am loving everything about it except one: the little mouse nub on the throttle - which I really want to use for headlooking - doesn't work at all.
